Prof. Dr. Jacques Bergman
Jacques Bergman is associate professor at the Dept. of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Academic Medical Center, Amsterdam. He is leader of the AMC Esophageal Research Team, member of the International Working Group on the Classification of Oesophagitis (IWGCO), chair of the Barrett’s Advisory Committee of the Comprehensive Cancer Centre Amsterdam, treasurer of the Dutch National Barrett’s Registration Foundation. Jacques Bergman has a special interest in endoscopic detection and treatment of early neoplasia in the upper digestive tract. Disclosures
Prof. Dr. Guido Costamagna
Guido Costamagna is head of the Digestive Endoscopy Unit, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Policlinico A. Gemelli, Rome. He is President Elect of the Italian Society of Digestive Endoscopy (SIED), member of the Board of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE), and member of the Editorial Board of several journals. He enjoys teaching and clinical research, with as main areas of interest: chronic pancreatitis, malignant diseases of the pancreas and bile ducts, endoscopic management of GERD and evaluation & development of new devices in GI endoscopy. Prof. Dr. med. Horst Neuhaus
Horst Neuhaus is Head of the Dept. of Internal Medicine, Evangelisches Krankenhaus Düsseldorf and Chief of Service of the Dept. of Gastroenterology (OMED Centers of Excellence and ESGE training center). He is associate professor of the Medical Faculty of the Technical University Munich, and is serving as the President Elect of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) and Councillor of the German Society of Gastroenterology (DGVS). His field of clinical and scientific interests include diagnosis and endoscopic treatment of early gastrointestinal neoplasms. Disclosures‘
PROGRAM CONTENTS
The RFA-Academia Program Committee will provide the following teaching materials to all participants:
Presentations, registration forms for endoscopic resection and RFA procedures, a DVD with all presentations and registration materials and a 3-monthly news-letter. Furthermore, participants will obtain access to download all teaching and registration material from this website.
After finishing the training, participants will receive a certificate from the RFA-Academia.
